A Splendid Scenery

The old name for the Sun Moon Lake is "Where water and sand."Can you imagine what this immense stretch of deep blue-green water looked like in earlier times when it was a shallow marsh covered with vibrant green water plants?

It is general natural feature of an area, so it attract lots of people to admire the scenery. The major activity is travel. Many people like to observe nature but few people know about the hiking trail around the Sun Moon Lake. If you are not careful, you will miss cicadas with fresh new wings as they silently come out of molting beside the trails. To ride a bicycle on path is another choices. We can ride a bicycly around the Sun Moon and view a well-know spot. You will be amazed by a splendid scenery surrounded by mountains and water. There are many varieties of plants that grow well under moist conditions. We can take a break under the summerhouse. Birds viewing can be done everywhere at the Sun Moon Lake. I suggest it that the best site is Tachu Park. You can enjoy the view of sunset at the same time. According to research,the types of birds here are as much as up to 120 different types. What a marvlous voice.

Yachat is one of tourism activities. It is totaly an hour and half voyage. Tourism Personnel will guide us to Laluisland and other places. The tour guide give a running commentary. A Laluisland is a Ita Thao's(伊達邵) village. There are many remains in the island. They are famous for The Thao New Year Festival, because ceremony is particular and different from others. The ceremony prays everyone for health and diligent. Moreover, I suggest another choice is to row a boat. The day is still all the times. It is silent because there no noisy cars and crowded people. Only after you come here do you relize its a quiet sunset.

It is noted for festival. National Water Fireworks Festival is must-see performance. Fireworks come from different countries. People come from diferent county or city in order to admire fireworks. They don't afraid of remoteness and go toward the Sun Moon Lake. Everyone waits patiently in expectation the firworks. The moments put on fireworks display like shooting star falling down on the lake.Colorful fireworks are like blooming with spring flowers in the sky. The performance is so breathtaking.

The last introduction is The Lalu Hotel. It is located on Sun Moon Lake's Peninsula.
